Muesli Bread Pudding

How about a nice twist to the traditionally made rich Indian desserts? Here’s an innovative bread pudding which you can make like a pro and flaunt your cooking skills.

Muesli Bread Pudding


  • 4 Modern Fruity Bread slices
  • 4 tbsp. Muesli
  • 4 dried figs- chopped
  • 1 tsp. refined oil
    For custard:
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 1 small cup milk
  • 2 tsps. Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tsps. Honey
  • 2 tsps. Nutmeg (Jaaifal) powder


  1. Pre heat the oven to 180 Degree Centigrade for 10 minutes.
  2. Toast bread with a tsp. of oil till they turn light brown. Cut into small triangles.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs with all ingredients for custard.
  4. In two ceramic bowls, place few toasted bread pieces and figs. Sprinkle some muesli and add a tsp. of egg mixture in each bowl.
  5. Place the remaining toasted bread pieces and figs. Pour the rest of egg mixture equally in both the bowls. Sprinkle muesli on top.
  6. Bake the figs and muesli bread pudding for about 25 minutes till it rises up and has a golden crust on top.

Use can cornflakes as a substitute for muesli. Just and add flax seeds, raisins, almonds to cornflakes.
