Dahi Rolls

When you have bread at home, why not make the most of it. Lets make dahi rolls with bread

Dahi Rolls


  • 8-9 Modern Enriched Sweet Bread slices
  • 3 cups refined oil for deep frying
  • ½ cup hung curd or yogurt
  • 1 large onion- Fine chopped
  • Fine chopped veggies of your choice
  • Salt to taste

For adhesive: 1 tbsp. each of all-purpose flour (maida) and water


  1. Mix all veggies, onions, salt, black pepper powder in hung curd.
  2. Trim the edges of the bread slices and flatten bread with rolling pin
  3. Fill a tbsp. of curd mixture in the centre of bread.
  4. Mix water in maida to make a thick paste. Apply on sides of the bread. As you roll the bread, the maida adhesive will seal the bread’s sides.
  5. Deep fry in oil till they turn golden brown. Slice them while serving.
