Bread Aaloo Tikki

Fortify the crispy aloo tikki with goodness of multi-grains present in Modern Multigrain Bread. This makes a great side dish, starter and also a perfect item for Sunday brunch.

Bread Aaloo Tikki

Ingredients

  • 7-8 Modern Multi Grain Super Seed Bread slices
  • 3 medium sized potatoes- boiled, peeled
  • 2-3 green chillies- chopped
  •  Few coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp. Red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 cups oil (for deep frying)

Method

  1. Mash boiled potatoes. Mix with salt, green chillies, red chilli powder & coriander leaves.
  2. Dip bread slices in water. Gently squeeze out water. Mash the soaked bread slices with potato mixture.
  3. Make round balls of the mixture and flatten them in shape of tikki.
  4. Heat oil. Deep fry the tikkis.
  5. Serve with green or red chutney.
